‘Who let the Dads out’ Dad’s and kids social time: outdoor space and indoor activities, with bacon butty. Free event. First Saturday of the month, 10-11.30am. In Holy Trinity garden and church
Free community art group for adults, second Saturday of the month, 10.30am-12pm, at Holy Trinity. Some art supplies provided or bring your own. All abilities welcome. Refreshments available
Women’s events. Two times a year there’s a Saturday morning brunch at St James's or Holy Trinity, with a guest speaker. There are also walks, meals and other socials.
Men’s events include brunches and pub nights
Youth and children’s work. Variety of groups for all ages at St James's.
Knit and natter is an informal social group meeting at St James’s on the second Monday of every month between 10am and 12noon. Come any time, to knit, or just natter! Materials and patterns for charity projects provided, or bring your own knitting. With refreshments.
Bible study: life groups meet fortnightly in homes or church.
Narcotics Anonymous, Mondays 7.30pm in Jim's Cafe at St James's (starts 18 March, usually held in term time). For more information, ring or email the St James's church office or visit the NA website www.ukna.org
