Living Hope Retreats

We run one-day or afternoon retreats at Holy Trinity Church, Lyonsdown, providing a chance to slow down and spend time with God.

Next retreat: Advent Quiet Day on 29 November, 1-6pm: 'Waiting with Hope'. Times of corporate worship and reflection, as well as quiet times for yourself. Tea/coffee and cake during the afternoon. Option to come at 12noon and eat a packed lunch together. No cost, but donations welcome

Numbers limited, so please book in advance: email or phone us and indicate the retreat you wish to attend, along with any dietary requirements, if relevant.

For retreats with a cost, payment details will be sent to you on booking. There is a card payment facility at the church or you can pay online.

The retreats are led by the vicar, Rev Jenny Robinson.

What to expect throughout the day:
Reflections on the topic from the leader, that will hopefully direct your thoughts and prayers during the day
Times of corporate worship
Quiet times to pray, relax, rest, journal, engage with Scripture, do art and craft, explore the garden (this time is your own to decide)
Different areas will be available including prayer stations, sitting areas, art/craft, our garden (weather permitting)
Refreshments: good food for lunch, with tea and coffee available throughout the day
